1. The name of the page.
The name comes from my beloved song written by RMB called „River's Edge” from the album „This World Is Yours” from 1995.
2. The aim of the project.
Purpose of River's Edge Project is mostly to have the possibility of an independent and universal throughout the publication of my previous writing, and to continue my work on the pages of this site. Another goal is to create complex galleries, which will include a series of thematic sections containing photos from concerts, meetings, or my hobbies and collections. In the future, the project will be extended with some new ideas.
3. Form.
I am not a supporter of the blogs, or such similar solutions. Hence, my website will be precluded from commenting on news or articles, witout even any guestbook (to prevent from lame spam). Any observations or comments please send to my e-mail address. The assumptions form of my website is to remind independent publication which is targeted to individual recipients.
4. Literature.
In this section you will find my literary works, together with brief descriptions of the history of the creation of individual publications. Where possible, specific articles are merged with photo gallery and/or scans. My intention was to save from oblivion my previous work, which as we shall see, is extremely large. I wanted also to gather in one place as far as possible everything I have written so far, to have the possibility to present to a larger audience of my texts, which were available so far only to a small group of customers, and provide previously unpublished works. My next aim is to present my work written in the days of primary school, what will happen in the near future.
Most of the publications has been revised because some of them were created on the Commodore 64 or the scrapbook.
5. Gallery.
Gallery will include pictures of events (actions, meetings, concerts, performances, etc.), which I was a direct witness and/or participant. If possible, I will be there also placing some photos of other authors that directly fits to the concrete theme. In addition, in the gallery will be the possibility to find the pictures of personal projects and photos of my collection. Photos are displayed in a special window called lightbox without leaving the page. You can use the mouse or the cursor left/right on the keyboard to move between pictures. Each photo in the gallery will hold his title and if possible a short comment in Polish and English languages.
6. English language.
English version of the page got launched on 24th of December 2009. Currently I have no possibility to translate all articles published in the Polish version of River's Edge Project, but I hope, that one day I will be able to do that. So be patient!
7. Links.
The links section is reserved primarily for all my friends who also have their web pages and want to share links to them. You will find here also links to the pages with which I'm cooperating or I'm in some way related.
8. Technical properties.
This page is based on Dokuwiki system. It was tested on three browsers: IE, Opera and Mozilla. With those browsers this page works without any problems (although IE may have a small technical problem with the display of empty fields in some places). The preferred minimum resolution is 1024×768. Browsing the site at a lower screen resolution, or with less browser window will crash a little bit main logo and menu of each gallery, which are stable and they cannot be automatically diminished.
9. Copyrights.
All materials on this site is subject to copyright and can be copied and published only with the consent of the author. If you want to include any part of the material from my website, please give the proper source (link, etc.), and my name and / or nickname. The Internet is a public thing, but it must also respect the basic rules about copyright.
Under civil law, any person whose picture is on this website have the right to delete it. If you have any proposals in this regard, please contact me.
